The chip has a small Blue tooth-shaped engraving on it. Also it sounds snappier than ” The chip that lets you talk,to trade photos and send songs to your friends from a distance of up to 15 feet” chip

It’s name is taken from the 10th century Danish King Harald Blatand - or Harold Bluetooth in English.

In memory of Harald Bluetooth the technology is named so.
