I saw a Sony 120 hertz LCD and want to know if other brands have the 3d effect that makes the picture pop?

The source was the transformers HD-DVD @ 1080i at 60 hertz it looked like all the other TV’s but at 120 hertz it had depth and looked 3d like you were there while it was being filmed

    The 3D effect is MOSTLY the HD part of the equation….the 120Hz refresh rate just keeps the picture sharp during High Speed Action….

    So in reality, you just want a GOOD 1080P TV set for 3D…..

    Of course Mitsubishi and Samsung actually sell a TV set that ACTUALLY provides TRUE 3D….you just need the extra equipment and the dedicated 3D videos……

    I don’t think it will catch on…..
