Where do I attach the DVD player to the television? Are there any set up steps that I need to do on the television’s menu? If so, what do I need to do on the menu? What are the steps?

Most DVD players simply use a scart lead and when switched on will switch the tv automatically to the scart input.
If the DVD has an HDMI connection use a HDMI lead for the best result.
You will need an HDMI cable to connect from your dvd player (if it is a newer model, older ones have component and optical or coax for audio)
and the other end to the tv. If you have a receiver the dvd should be connected to it and then to the tv, same if you have a Home Theater in a box.
