abc d asked:

There is a light on the bottom, center of the screen that seems rather bright when we are watching TV. Is there any way to turn off or dim that light and watch television? We do not like that bright white light.

Is it the light around power button? If so you can access the menu with your remote and it should give you the option to turn it off in your menu. The easiest step by step would be in your manual.

Most TVs have a setting in the menus to turn off these extraneous lights. Check your manual for directions. You can also call the 1-800 help line for Samsung that is printed on your manual.

If not, there is the tried-and-true method that electronics owners have been employing for years - a small piece of balck electrical tape over the light.

yes you can turn in off. There’s a setting in the menu (I can’t think of exactly which one) but it’ll say logo light or something like that and it gives you the option of if turning on only when you power up, when you press a button or let’s you turn it off all together. Just sit down bored one day and play with the menu that TV has a lot of nice features that are easy to use
