There's a setting in the menu (I can't think of exactly which one) but it'll say logo light or something like that and it gives you the option of if turning on only when you power up, when you press a button or let's you turn it off all together. Just sit down bored one day and play with the menu that TV has a lot of nice features that are easy to use</description>
