(2) The lack of HDMI ports is likely to do with a thin profile model. The less HDMI ports the less cards they have to put in so the thinner they can make the TV.
(3) Pro: It and the Sony XBR10 are about the best foot forward from LED LCD technology.
Con: Its super expensive. Panasonic Plasmas can provide better image quality, better motion playback, better reliability, and cost less because all of its high quality image features are inherent to Plasma technology, not add ons you have to pay for (240Hz, LED).
I saw Series 8000 have 4 HDMI and Series 8500 come with 5 HDMI
Pros:
- Excellent picture quality with mega dynamic contrast ratio
- Very thin set
- 40% less power consumption than other conventional hdtv.
Cons:
- Expensive
