there is a regular install for windows 7 and vista below should be another download button for 64 bit windows i just installed itunes and it works

Re download the set-up file and make sure it is the 64bit version. And try again. Make sure it is the latest version (9.0.2)

OMG! I have my iTunes library on a CD and when i insert it into my laptop it just comes up with the songs and not the actual iTunes sorry i didnt help , so im gonna tyr install it too….if it works for me it must be ur pc ….sorry ( i have iwndows 7 btw - )

There is a newer version of itunes. Make sure you have the most latest version. Also, take a look at this post.

You should install iTunes for 64-bit OS, not 32-bit.

iTunes has a 32 and 64 bit version. Maybe you dl the wrong one.

I’m using 7 ultimate 64 and had no problem installing itunes. Are you sure you’re doing everything correctly?

Try running it in compatibility mode for XP. Right click on the installer, select troubleshoot compatibility, and follow the prompts.
