How do i downgrade from windows 7 ultimate to windows 7 home premium?

i currently have windows 7 home premium, and im thinking of upgrading to windows 7 ultimate. could some one please tell me how i would be able to downgrade to windows 7 home premium if i am not satisfied with windows 7 ultimate?

    You should check out the features in Ultimate first.

    If you are a home user you will probably find there is not much extra in it that you’ll use.

    You cannot downgrade, you will have to reinstall the Home Premium version.

    Hi NoNo,

    Beach Bum Daddy is correct, if you chose to go back to Windows 7 Home Premium, you would need to back up all your data to an external hard drive and do a reinstall of Home Premium. Ultimate is the same OS, just with increased features…I am guessing will want to stick with it! However here is a resource to help you decide between which between version suits your needs:
